Description

In this workshop we will learn about best practices for addressing Historical trauma in adults and children.  We will examine the research on trends in healthcare that promote optimal health and discuss the implications for Native people and communities.  The best part of the conference is the focus on self-care goals and intentions for establishing a healthful life that is free from the dis-ease brought on threw trauma and unhealthful eating patterns.  Self care and personal growth content is included in the curriculum in promotion of optimal learning and health.  Each day will begin with meditation and physical activity. healthful meals and snacks are provided in addition to personal learning goals and reflections.
